We are looking for employees with rescue operation competence who want to work in our Fire Department in Bomhus, Gävle.

We are one of the larger industrial fire services in Sweden. Safety work within the group is highly prioritized, and our unit consists of both full-time and part-time staff.

Job Description

Our work environment is important and characterized by a strong safety mindset, dialogue, and well-being. As fire personnel with us, you will:

• Conduct operational fire services in the ongoing response team along with round-the-clock preparedness.
• Be responsible, together with your team, for the maintenance of fire and rescue equipment within the Gävle Bruk industrial area as well as at the fire station.
• Engage in preventive work and continuous maintenance of rescue materials and vehicles.

The assignment period is from June to August. We are also open to hiring employees who can only work part of the period. You will work during the day with round-the-clock preparedness.

Qualifications

• Trained firefighter with at least rescue operation competence and an approved treadmill test of 4.5 km/h for 6 minutes with alarm equipment.
• Swim proficient and healthy in accordance with the Swedish Work Environment Authority's requirements for smoke diving.
• Driver's license B, to handle emergency response in the job.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
